Sudanese Justice Minister Abdallah Darf announced that Sudan has finalized legal pathways to prosecute the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in United States and international courts. The legal actions will target the UAE’s alleged role in supplying weapons and mercenaries to the RSF, which Sudan claims constitutes war crimes and genocide. Sudan’s government asserts it has gathered sufficient evidence, including recently seized weaponry marked for delivery to the UAE, to prove Abu Dhabi’s direct involvement in the conflict.
