Nuclear Programme and Negotiations

Iran’s nuclear program remains at the center of its relations with the United States and Western powers, as negotiations continue over a new agreement that would limit Tehran’s nuclear activities in exchange for sanctions relief. Following the 2026 war, the nuclear issue returned to the forefront of diplomacy within a broader framework that also includes sanctions, freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran’s missile program.
